The Frosty BCF20 blast chiller cabinet is designed for fast cooling and freezing of cooked dishes and semi-finished products in the kitchens of educational institutions, healthcare facilities and foodservice businesses. Rapidly passing through the temperature range where bacteria multiply most actively helps preserve food quality longer than slow cooling at room temperature or in a regular refrigerator.
The cabinet measures 800×800×930 mm and draws 0.76 kW from a 220V supply. Its interior surfaces are made of AISI 304 grade steel, which resists corrosion and keeps its hygienic properties and appearance throughout the unit's service life. The cabinet is equipped with a hot-gas defrost system that clears frost at the end of each cycle without wasting energy on the next start-up, as well as a needle-type temperature probe that lets staff track the core temperature of the food and limits compressor run time to what is actually needed. The manufacturer provides a warranty on the BCF20 model.
