The HENDI Arktic 232491 blast chiller is the largest of the three models featured here, built for kitchens with high output — school catering combines, hospital kitchens and other facilities that prepare large numbers of portions daily and need to quickly cool large batches of cooked food right after heat treatment.
The cabinet holds 15 GN 1/1 pans or 600×400 mm trays, with 75 mm spacing between guide rails. The refrigeration unit is placed at the bottom of the cabinet, freeing up space above the cooling chamber. The body is made of AISI 201 stainless steel, cooling is dynamic with R290 refrigerant, and the operating range is from -40°C to +10°C. Control is digital, and the unit includes a temperature probe and cycle programming.
