The Fimar BL020BN mixer blender is used in kindergarten, school and hospital kitchens for chopping fruit and vegetables, preparing purees for children's and dietary meals, and making fruit- or dairy-based drinks. The 2 L jug is made of clear, food-grade lexan plastic, allowing staff to monitor the blending process.
The blade is a four-blade stainless steel design. The jug lid has an extra opening for adding ingredients while the blender is running, and the jug itself is fitted with a safety microswitch that prevents the motor from starting unless the jug is correctly in place. The body is chrome-plated plastic, with controls consisting of a speed regulator and a separate pulse button.
