The AIRHOT HLP-15 potato peeler is built for mechanized peeling of potatoes and other root vegetables in the kitchens of schools, kindergartens, hospitals and catering businesses that need to process large volumes of vegetables every day.
The body and working drum are made of stainless steel, giving the unit resistance to moisture and frequent washing. The hopper takes up to 15 kg of potatoes per cycle, and cleaning time is set with a 0–5 minute timer. Throughput reaches up to 165 kg per hour, cutting vegetable preparation time considerably compared with manual peeling. Peel waste collects on a stand fitted with a mesh filter, making clean-up quicker after each batch. The machine connects to a water supply so potatoes are rinsed while the drum rotates. It runs on a 220V mains supply and draws 900W. For staff safety, the unit switches off automatically whenever the loading hatch is opened.
