The HURAKAN HKN-PPF10M is a floor-standing electromechanical potato peeler for cleaning potatoes, carrots, beets and other round or elongated root vegetables. It is used in school, kindergarten and hospital kitchens, as well as foodservice businesses that process large volumes of vegetables daily.
The abrasive drum rotates at 280 rpm, and one peeling cycle takes 120–180 seconds. Running continuously, the machine processes 150–200 kg of potatoes, carrots or beets per hour, with up to 10 kg loaded per cycle. The body is made of stainless steel, the unit plugs into a standard 220 V outlet, and power consumption is 0.55 kW.
