The Robot Coupe CL 40 vegetable slicer is a heavy-duty compact countertop unit for slicing, grating and shredding vegetables in school, kindergarten and hospital kitchens. Unlike the entry-level models in the range, it features a metal motor unit and a stainless steel bowl, extending service life under daily workloads.
A 500 W induction motor delivers effective throughput of up to 50 kg/h at 500 rpm. Product is fed through a 1.6 L half-moon hopper or one of two cylindrical hoppers (Ø 58 mm and Ø 39 mm); an Exactitube pusher is included for precise french-fry and dicing cuts. Discs for slicing, grating, julienne, ripple cutting, french fries and dicing are selected separately.
