The Alimacchine SM10FT2V spiral dough mixer is a two-speed, three-phase version of the SM10 model from the Italian manufacturer Alimacchine. Unlike the single-speed SM10FT, this model lets the operator choose one of two kneading speeds depending on the type of dough.
The 12-litre bowl (280x195 mm) handles from 1.5 to 8 kg of dough or 1 to 5 kg of flour. The first speed runs the bowl at 13 rpm and the spiral at 83 rpm; the second runs the bowl at 20 rpm and the spiral at 129 rpm.
