The Frosty HS 20 spiral dough mixer is built for kneading yeast and enriched dough in the kitchens of schools, kindergartens, hospitals and other institutions that bake bread and pastries in relatively modest daily volumes. Its 21 L bowl replaces manual kneading with a machine cycle, cutting the time needed to prepare dough for baking, which matters when a canteen runs on a fixed daily menu.
The mixer works on a spiral kneading principle: the spiral rotates around its own axis while the bowl turns in the opposite direction, so dough is kneaded evenly without overheating or separating. The bowl is made of stainless steel and is fixed in place (non-removable); the drive runs through a chain transmission with no gearbox, and an inverter-controlled motor provides two kneading speeds for different dough types. The housing is enamelled steel, resistant to moisture and regular washing. The unit runs on a 220V supply and draws 1.5 kW. This model is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
