The Araven 09855 lid closes GN 1/2 food pans and is used in kitchens where dishes and prepped ingredients are held in cold storage between cooking and serving. Its bi-injection moulded construction with a rubber seal provides an airtight fit around the entire perimeter, including on larger pans within the same product line.
The lid is made of polypropylene, a material resistant to frequent washing, mechanical stress and temperature swings in a production kitchen. Its operating range allows the lid to stay on pans in freezer storage as well as during brief reheating. The product is manufactured without bisphenol A and complies with European regulations for materials that come into contact with food.
