The Termobox 601 insulated food container, manufactured by the Turkish company AVATHERM, is used to move cooked meals between a facility's kitchen block and its serving points — a dining hall, buffet, or ward area in a hospital wing. It belongs to the front-loading line: the door sits on the front face of the unit, so staff can load and unload GN pans or trays without lifting or tilting the container itself.
Internal capacity is 83 litres, with internal dimensions of 33.3×54×46 cm and external dimensions of 45×62.5×57.5 cm. The interior offers 12 shelf positions, allowing flexible arrangement depending on the height of the trays being carried. The removable door closes with a moulded sash lock that keeps the seal tight and helps retain food temperature while the unit is moved through corridors. A card holder on the body lets staff attach a note with the contents, route, or receiving department.
