The Arktic 274231 Ice Cream Maker is a countertop unit from the Arktic brand with a built-in compressor that produces ice cream, sorbet and frozen yoghurt without pre-chilling the ingredients. It suits school and kindergarten kitchens, cafés and catering venues that serve freshly made desserts.
The 2 L ice cream container is stainless steel, and the mixing paddle is made of POM (polyoxymethylene). An air-cooled compressor chills the mixture within a -10°C to -35°C range, while a cooling extension function keeps the finished product at the right consistency. A transparent lid with a "Twist-Lock" safe-close system lets you monitor the process, and a large back-lit digital display shows operating time, freezing temperature and mixing status.
