Staff BFE150 Hard Ice Cream Freezer

The Staff BFE150 is an Italian vertical freezer for producing hard ice cream in-house — in a pastry workshop or the kitchen of an educational or healthcare facility. Unlike the neighbouring model in the line, the BFE150 supports two ways of removing heat from the condenser — air or water cooling — giving more flexibility when planning kitchen connections, especially where ventilation is limited or a water supply is already available for other process equipment.

The unit freezes the mix in batches inside a working cylinder under electromechanical cycle control. Each cycle processes 1.5 to 2.6 litres of mix (1.15–2.3 kg), with an hourly output of up to 15 litres, or 12 kilograms of finished ice cream. That capacity is enough to keep desserts regularly on the menu of a school, kindergarten or hospital kitchen without outsourcing production.
