The Orved VGP 60 is a chamber-type vacuum packing machine for gastronorm trays and containers, designed for kitchens with a high daily volume of food preparation, such as school and kindergarten canteens, hospital catering units and institutional catering facilities. The bodywork is made of stainless steel and the unit is mounted on wheels, allowing it to be moved between work areas of the production room.
A chamber vacuum packer works by placing the tray or gastronorm container with the product and vacuum bag entirely inside the chamber, from which the air is extracted before the bag is heat-sealed. The standard configuration of the VGP 60 includes moulds for GN 1/2, GN 1/4 and GN 1/8 trays, with other mould sizes available on request.

The chamber vacuum packing method is used for portioning semi-finished products, prepared ingredients and ready meals in kitchens with centralised meal production, where large volumes of gastronorm containers are processed every day. The vacuum chamber of the VGP 60 and its set of moulds allow the machine to work with several GN tray formats within the stated chamber dimensions.
The unit is intended for installation in production areas of kitchens at educational and healthcare institutions where regular vacuum packaging of food in gastronorm containers is required.
