The Lavezzini Mini BIG is an external vacuum sealer from the Italian manufacturer Lavezzini, part of a line of semi-automatic vacuum sealers aimed at retail use. Packing is done by external air extraction: a bag with the product is placed on the sealing bar, the air is drawn out and the seam is then heat-sealed.
The control panel on this model is semi-automatic and designed to be as simple as possible for the operator to use without special training.
The external sealing principle means the product does not need to be placed fully inside a vacuum chamber, as with chamber machines: it is enough to lay the bag on the unit's sealing bar. This approach makes packing small and medium batches simpler and faster when the throughput of industrial chamber equipment is not required.
