The Orved VM 98 is a countertop external (chamberless) vacuum sealer for packaging food in kitchens of schools, kindergartens, hospitals and other institutions with centralised catering. The bag with the product is placed outside the housing, air is extracted through the open edge, and the seam is then sealed.
The body is made of stainless steel, and the auto-lubricating vacuum pump has a capacity of 30 l/min. The sealing bar is 420 mm long, longer than on the Fast Vacuum model, allowing it to work with wider bags.

The higher pump capacity and longer sealing bar compared with the Fast Vacuum make the VM 98 better suited to wider bags and a larger daily packaging volume in a kitchen.
Like other chamberless models in the Orved range, the VM 98 does not require bags cut to a fixed chamber size — roll bags of the needed length and width can be used within the stated sealing bar length.
