The CAS AP-EX retail scale is used in school, kindergarten and hospital kitchens for weighing goods on receipt, portioning and checking the yield of cooked dishes. The extended 28-key direct-access keypad speeds up work with frequently used items and shortens service time.
The platform is made of stainless steel, which simplifies wet cleaning and meets the sanitary requirements of food production. A double-sided vacuum-fluorescent display shows weight, unit price and total cost to both the operator and the person receiving the goods. An RS-232 interface allows the scale to connect to the facility's accounting and POS systems.
