Each of the two Ø35 cm plates has a Teflon coating that keeps batter from sticking and simplifies cleaning after service. The body and heating elements are made of stainless steel, and the unit runs on single-phase or three-phase power. A control lets staff set full or reduced heat on each plate independently, depending on the recipe.
