The HURAKAN HKN-PE22R is a single contact grill with a ribbed cooking surface, the most compact contact grill in the Hurakan lineup. It suits bar counters, small cafes and fast-food outlets, food trucks and mobile catering, where a grill for steaks, burgers or vegetables is needed but worktop space is tight.
The plate is cast iron with a ribbed surface, and the temperature range runs +50…300°C. Because of cast iron's heat retention, the plate doesn't lose temperature even when cold meat is placed on it: a medium-rare steak takes about 2–3 minutes per side at around 300°C. The lower end of the range, 50°C, lets you hold a cooked dish warm until it's served. Power output is 1.8 kW, it runs on a 220 V supply, and its compact footprint of 310×370×210 mm with a weight of 14.2 kg makes it easy to fit into a tight kitchen layout.
