The Frosty SP-1A1 contact grill is used for quickly heating toast bread and sandwiches, as well as cooking meat, fish and vegetables on buffet lines and in the kitchens of schools, kindergartens and hospitals. Its compact working surface width of up to 250 mm allows it to be installed even on a small buffet or serving-area workstation.
The unit has a single working zone with ribbed lower and upper cast-iron plates; the upper lid is held down with a latch or spring for even heating on both sides. A thermostat allows setting the temperature within a +50 to +300°C range depending on the food being cooked. The grill runs at 1800 W and is powered by electricity. A removable grease tray simplifies cleaning after a shift, and rubberized feet keep the unit stable on the worktop.
