The Frosty SP-2A2 contact grill is used for preparing sandwiches, steaks, fish and vegetables in the kitchens of educational and healthcare facilities, where several cooking methods need to be combined at a single workstation. The combination plate surface expands the range of dishes that can be prepared without swapping equipment, while two independent cooking zones let staff serve a larger flow of dining hall visitors at the same time.
Both the upper and lower plates are made of cast iron, and the body is made of stainless steel. The upper plate floats on a spring-loaded hinge, so it presses evenly against products regardless of thickness. A thermostat allows the working temperature to be set between 50 and 300°C to match the recipe, while indicator lights on the control panel show the current heating mode. A removable grease tray and stable rubberized feet make daily servicing easier.
