The Piramit P-7700 contact grill sears food from both sides at once thanks to its top and bottom cooking surfaces. It is used in school, kindergarten and hospital kitchens for cooking meat, fish, sandwiches and vegetable dishes by the portion.
The unit is built from five components: the body, a lid with the upper surface built in, two ribbed cast iron cooking surfaces, an automatic thermostat and an indicator lamp. The body is entirely stainless steel. The thermostat tracks surface temperature and switches the heating element on as needed, saving electricity, while the indicator lamp shows when the element is working.
