The HENDI Lift Salamander 450 264607 is a professional lift-type overhead grill from the Dutch brand HENDI, built for finishing dishes in institutional catering: school, kindergarten and hospital kitchens, cafés and restaurants. It is designed for fast browning, crust finishing and melting cheese right before service.
The heating element height adjusts smoothly from 70 to 200 mm via a sprocket-and-chain mechanism, giving precise control over heat intensity for grilling, browning and melting cheese. Operating temperature ranges from 1 to 300°C, with indicator lights showing heating status on the control panel. The housing is made of 18/0 stainless steel, and the bottom and back plate are galvanised sheet metal. The removable drip and crumb tray with a 440×320 mm grid is made of stainless steel and keeps daily cleaning quick.
