Piramit P-1080 Tea Dispenser, 8 L

The Piramit P-1080 tea dispenser is a compact unit for brewing and serving tea in large quantities in buffets and tea corners of schools, kindergartens and hospitals where hot drinks are self-served. A single device brews the tea and dispenses it, without a separate teapot or thermos.

Unlike a plain water boiler, a tea dispenser has extra parts for actually preparing the drink: a brewing basket and a filter. In total the unit is made up of nine main components — the body, lid, brewing basket, filter, indicator panel, taps, side handles, signal lights and thermostat. The thermostat maintains the required temperature, while the water-level control system protects the heating element: if the water drops below the set mark, the unit switches off automatically and gives a light and sound signal.
