The Orest PC-0.4-D pasta cooker is designed for boiling pasta, grains and vegetables in kitchens of schools, kindergartens and hospitals that need to prepare side dishes in large batches every day. It can be used as a standalone unit or as part of a cooking line, which is convenient when planning a kitchen with limited floor space.
The unit is built of stainless steel, with a reinforced 1.5 mm thick basin offering 18-20 L of usable capacity. A vented 200 mm splashback carries heat away from the internal components. Liquid drains through an Italian-made valve, and heating output is adjusted smoothly with automatic temperature maintenance. Electrical power is 5.1 kW at 380 V, and water comes to a boil in around 15 minutes. The unit measures 400×700 mm, stands 350 (550) mm tall and weighs 25 kg.
