The Orest CES-4 electric stove is designed for cooking soups and main courses in kitchens of schools, kindergartens and hospitals that prepare hot meals for large numbers of people every day. Four burners allow several dishes to be cooked at once, or dishes of different volumes to be prepared in parallel.
The stove is made entirely of stainless steel. Each of the four burners is controlled by a 3-position power switch made by E.G.O. (Germany), and current reaches the burners through a brass conductive bus bar. A drip tray beneath the cooking surface catches any liquid spilled during cooking. Wiring is made with heat-resistant cable, and a vented 200 mm splashback protects the wall from splashes and heat. Total electrical power is 10 kW at 380 V. The stove measures 800×700 mm, stands 900 (1100) mm tall and weighs 95 kg.
