The Piramit P-7100 griddle is electric cooking equipment for frying large batches of food, built for the kitchens of schools, kindergartens, hospitals and other institutions with centralised catering. Its combined surface has one smooth half and one ridged half, so two different cooking styles are available on a single unit.
The body is made entirely of stainless steel. The unit has five main parts: the body, the griddle surface, a grease collection tray, an automatic thermostat and a signal lamp. On the P-7100 the griddle plate is cast iron, with an even structure that is easy to clean. The removable grease tray simplifies frying and speeds up cleanup afterwards. The automatic thermostat maintains the set surface temperature: it switches the heating element on when the temperature drops and off once the target is reached, saving energy. The signal lamp lights up while the heating element is running.
