A mould of this type is used in pastry sections of school, kindergarten, hospital and other institutional kitchens for making spherical chocolate confections in-house. The magnetic fastening of the mould parts makes it easier to work with liquid chocolate and reduces the risk of leaking while pouring.
The perforated plate included with the mould allows excess chocolate to be removed quickly, giving finished pieces clean edges without additional manual trimming.
