The Martellato PR30X30 square icing grid, 30×30 cm, is a pastry tool used for applying glaze, fondant and chocolate coating to cakes, marshmallow-type desserts, pastries and other square or rectangular items. The grid is placed over a tray or sheet pan, allowing excess glaze to drip through the mesh instead of covering the work surface.
The grid is made of stainless steel and fitted with feet that raise it above the work surface, leaving room for the coating to drain. The square shape of the Martellato PR30X30 works well for portioned pastries, brownies and other items that are cut into straight-edged pieces.
