The Silikomart TEX03 Matelassé silicone mat produces a neat quilted pattern on the surface of a dessert — a popular finish for cakes, mousse pastries and desserts prepared for celebrations in educational and healthcare institutions. The mat is placed at the bottom of the mould before pouring, and once the item has set it comes out already textured, with no manual pattern work required.

The mat is only 6 mm thick and made of 100% food-grade platinum silicone that resists temperatures from -60°C to +230°C. That means the same mat can be used both for oven baking and for freezing semi-finished products. It is safe for direct food contact, works in a microwave oven, and is dishwasher safe.
