The Silikomart MAC02/C silicone mat is designed for baking classic round macaron shells in large batches. Relief cavities on its surface give every shell the same shape and diameter, which is useful for regular dessert production in the kitchens of schools, kindergartens, hospitals and other institutions that bake in-house.
The working surface holds 70 cavities with a 40 mm diameter on a 600×400 mm sheet. The mat is made of 100% food-grade platinum silicone rated for temperatures from -60°C to +230°C, safe for direct food contact, suitable for microwave use and dishwasher safe. It is not designed for direct contact with a stovetop or induction hob, cutting with a knife on its surface, or use over an open flame.
