The Silikomart TRD11 silicone mat (manufacturer's original name Trd11 Hearts – 400x80 mm) is a thin, textured, Italian-made mat for creating decorative sugar lace with a hearts motif, used to decorate tiered cakes, cupcakes and cookies. It is well suited to the pastry section of a school, kindergarten or hospital kitchen for festive decoration of in-house baking, whenever a neat, repeatable decorative element is needed without freehand piping.
The textured surface lets staff spread melted chocolate, icing or a dedicated lace paste in a thin, even layer, then carefully lift off the finished decorative piece once it has set, with no tearing and no residue left on the mat. The flexible silicone withstands repeated use, cleans easily and keeps its sharp texture cycle after cycle, which matters when festive baking for children's or hospital events happens on a regular basis.
