The Paderno 18518-30 angled icing spatula is a tool for the pastry section of school, kindergarten and hospital canteens, as well as any foodservice operation that prepares cakes, pastries and other cream-based desserts in-house or to order. The curved blade spreads cream and glaze evenly, levels the surface of a cake, distributes filling between sponge layers and helps fill piping bags, keeping hands away from the finished product while decorating.
The blade is made of stainless steel, the handle of polypropylene. The blade material is flexible enough for good maneuverability yet rigid enough to spread even a thick ganache or dense buttercream uniformly. The squared-off tip gives precision and control when leveling and smoothing a dessert surface. Overall length is 30 cm, with a 4.3 cm wide working blade. The spatula is dishwasher safe, which is convenient under daily kitchen workload.
