The Lacor 67417 wire mesh skimmer is professional kitchen equipment from the Spanish manufacturer Lacor, built for large cookware — cauldrons, pots and deep fryers of a substantial diameter. The mesh working head on a wire frame lets staff quickly lift food out of hot liquid or oil, draining excess moisture right over the pot instead of pouring the whole contents through a colander.
The working head is 17 cm in diameter, and the tool measures 56 cm in length. These proportions suit large-batch cooking — boiling vegetables, pasta, dumplings or fish for kitchens serving many guests: school and kindergarten canteens, hospital kitchens and foodservice businesses.
