The Paderno 48506-01 butcher's chainmail glove protects the palm and fingers of kitchen or butchery staff from cuts by a sharp knife during boning, slicing and portioning meat and fish in school, kindergarten and hospital kitchens, as well as catering facilities. The tight mesh of small stainless steel rings withstands direct contact with the blade, while the nylon strap secures the glove on the wrist without restricting hand movement during work.
This model comes in white, size small, and weighs 390 g, designed for a smaller hand. Like the rest of the Paderno glove range, it is made to the UNI EN 1082-1:1998 standard — requirements for chainmail garments and gloves resistant to cuts and punctures from a hand knife. The rings are 4 mm in diameter and 0.5 mm thick, and the glove itself is ambidextrous.
