The Lacor 50020 low casserole with lid from the Chef-Classic line (Spain) is built for exactly that: a 20 cm diameter and 9 cm height give a working capacity of 2.8 L, while the shallow sides make it easy to stir and keep an eye on the dish while it cooks.
The whole piece is made of 18/10 stainless steel — a hygienic material that does not react with food and withstands daily intensive washing. The bottom is thermo-diffusion: an aluminium disc is pressed between two layers of stainless steel, spreading heat evenly and preventing scorching in one spot. Metal thickness is 0.7 mm. The lid is designed to save energy during cooking, and the casserole works on all hob types, including induction, as well as in the oven. The matte finish inside and out helps hide small scratches from everyday use in a kitchen.
