A hospital's central kitchen cooks for several wards at once, so it needs a large-capacity casserole with shallow sides that's easy to stir and serve from. The Lacor 50032 low casserole with lid from the Chef-Classic line (Spain) has a 32 cm diameter, 12.5 cm height and 10 L capacity.
The casserole is made of 18/10 stainless steel with a 0.8 mm metal thickness. The thermo-diffusion bottom — an aluminium disc between two layers of stainless steel — spreads heat evenly across this wide base, which matters when cooking for several wards at once. An energy-saving lid is included, the casserole works on all hob types, including induction, as well as in the oven. The matte finish inside and out holds up well under daily use.
