Its 1.2 mm walls are thicker than those of the base pot of the same diameter, adding durability for daily work with large volumes of food in the kitchens of schools and healthcare facilities.
The body is made entirely of 18/10 stainless steel, and the bottom is heat-diffusing, with an aluminium layer between two layers of stainless steel that spreads heat evenly and reduces the risk of local overheating when cooking large batches of soup or stock. The lid is designed for energy saving, and the matte finish inside and out keeps the cookware looking neat even under heavy daily use.
