The ARCOS Oval Sharpening Steel 300 mm 279010 is a tool from the Spanish brand ARCOS for the regular upkeep of knives in institutional kitchens: school, kindergarten and hospital catering, as well as cafés and restaurants. It quickly realigns and touches up the cutting edge between full sharpenings, restoring the blade to its original shape.
The oval-section rod is made of chrome-plated carbon steel with a fine grain that minimises small deformations on the blade surface, so knives stay sharp longer and need full sharpening less often. The ergonomic polypropylene (PP) handle with a hanging ring sits comfortably in the hand and increases the precision of movements while honing.
