The Araven 01129 flat food storage container, 2 L, is designed for food preparation processes in school, kindergarten and hospital kitchens — primarily for portioned thawing of smaller quantities of semi-finished or prepped food. The container is supplied without a lid: it is meant for use within the production cycle rather than for long-term airtight storage.

Made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the container withstands impact well and performs reliably at low temperatures, which is why it is recommended for thawing. Food should be taken out of its original packaging and placed in this container, which speeds up thawing thanks to better heat transfer through the walls.
