The Araven 01178 drain tray, 432×332 mm, is used during the thawing of food products in school, kindergarten and hospital kitchens and other centralised catering facilities. It is placed at the bottom of a food storage container to raise the product above the liquid released during thawing and prevent the product from coming back into contact with that liquid.
The tray is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a material resistant to impacts with stable properties at low temperatures. Its 432×332 mm size matches the largest containers in the Araven range used for storing and thawing large volumes of product.
