The Krupps EL981E is a hood-type utensil washer from the ELITECH line, built for large cookware such as GN 2/1 trays, pots, planetary mixer parts and professional kitchen tools. Its 850 mm usable loading height handles items that will not fit into standard tunnel machines, making the EL981E a good match for central kitchens in schools, kindergartens and hospitals with high-volume food production.
The unit is fitted with a tempered-glass UNIKO touch display and a SMART START button that changes colour depending on the cycle phase. The electronic control board lets staff adjust wash parameters and enables the Thermostop function, which only starts washing and rinsing once the set temperature is reached. The Acquatech system, with its break tank, atmospheric boiler and rinse pump, keeps pressure, flow and temperature constant to deliver a sanitising rinse at the end of every cycle.
