The HENDI 270172 high-voltage insect killer is an indoor pest-control unit from the Dutch brand HENDI, built for catering and retail premises: kitchens and dining areas of school, kindergarten and hospital canteens, cafés, restaurants and food shops. It helps facilities meet sanitary requirements for food-handling areas by reducing the risk of insects reaching food preparation and storage zones.
The housing is made of specially treated aluminium alloy and ABS plastic — fire-resistant materials that ensure safe operation. Insects are electrocuted with a 2,000–2,500 V discharge, and the remains collect in a removable tray that is easy to clean. The unit can be ceiling-mounted with a chain or used free-standing.
