The Bartscher IV-22 insect killer (item 300306) is a compact wall-mounted unit for controlling flies and other flying insects in the kitchen, pantry or dining area of an educational or healthcare facility, where chemical insect control near food is undesirable.
Two 6 W UV-A daylight tubes attract insects to a grid charged to 2,000-2,200 V; insects killed by the shock fall into a removable collection tray. The unit's coverage radius is 6-8 m, suitable for a serving area, storeroom or small production space. The housing is plastic in a silver-black finish, and a chain for wall mounting is included.
