The Bartscher IV-36 insect killer (item 300314) is a wall-mounted unit for controlling flies and other flying insects in production, storage and ancillary areas of school, kindergarten and hospital kitchens and other facilities with strict sanitary requirements.
Insects are attracted by the UV-A light of two 10 W daylight tubes and are killed by an electric shock on a grid charged to 2,000–2,200 V. The insect bodies fall into a removable tray that is easy to pull out and clean. The unit's coverage radius is up to 10 m, enough to control insects in a mid-sized room without using chemical insecticides near food.
