The Bartscher IV-65 insect killer (item 300317) is a higher-output version of the series designed for larger areas — kitchens of boarding schools, central school-meal facilities, hospital catering units and other sites that need insect control over a wider range.
Two 20 W UV-A daylight tubes attract insects, and a grid charged to 2,000–2,200 V kills them by electric shock; the insects fall into a removable tray that is easy to take out for cleaning. The stated coverage radius is up to 12 m, letting a single unit cover a larger area without chemical insecticides.
