Material and Furniture Safety in a NUS Classroom
Furniture children use for half a day must be safe in materials and design. Ask the manufacturer for conformity documents.
- Materials must be permitted; request formaldehyde-emission documents.
- Design — rounded corners, tip-over stability, secure fixings.
- These are the safety requirements of Order No. 283.
- Check the design and documents at acceptance.
