Furniture for a School After-School Group
An extended day group means up to six hours after lessons: lunch, a walk, homework, games — and, for first-graders, a daytime nap. One room has to work in three scenarios, each needing its own furniture.
- Regulated by Ministry of Education Order No. 677 of 25.06.2018 (as amended 04.07.2025): up to 30 pupils, up to 6 hours a day.
- Three zones: study (height-appropriate desks and chairs, DSTU EN 1729), play corner (easy-to-clean soft furniture), rest zone.
- A daytime nap is optional and only for first-grade groups; stationary single-tier beds are the safe choice.
- Furniture surfaces must be smooth and withstand wet cleaning and disinfection.
