Equipping a NUS Classroom: A Complete School Guide
A NUS classroom is a flexible space of eight learning zones, not rows of desks. Furniture must be mobile, light and safe — requirements set by MES Order No. 283 of 23 March 2018.
- 8 zones: learning, thematic, play, art, living-nature corner, rest, class library, teacher’s zone.
- Furniture requirements: ergonomics, safety, shape (trapezoidal desks), durability (24-month warranty), weight (chair ≤4 kg, desk ≤10 kg).
- Desk and chair sizes follow height groups (DSTU EN 1729).
- Goods bought with NUS subvention funds from UAH 100,000 — via the e-catalogue only.
