Frequently asked questions
What is included in turnkey NUS classroom equipping? A complete furniture set across eight learning centres: mobile single desks and chairs by height groups, boards and flip charts, shelving and storage systems, furniture for the rest centre, and the teacher desk and cabinets. Documents for acceptance and delivery are included as well.
How much does it cost to equip a NUS classroom? The cost depends on the classroom area, the number of students, the set of centres and the chosen materials. We prepare an estimate for the specific classroom and the institution budget.
What standards must NUS furniture meet? National standards — in particular DSTU EN 1729 and the sanitary norms DSanPiN 5.5.2.008-01 — as well as the Ministry of Education requirements for NUS furniture regarding mobility and transformability.
Why must NUS desks be mobile? So the format of work can change quickly — from frontal to group. Flexible zoning of the space is a key principle of the New Ukrainian School.
Can NUS furniture be ordered through Prozorro? Yes. We have 200+ tender deliveries to educational institutions, and we help draft the specification for procurement and provide documents for acceptance.
