Seat height by size group
The preschool sanitary regulation (Ministry of Health order №1604 of 21.10.2025, in force since 05.12.2025, Annex 3) requires sizing by height. Seat height by group:
- Group 00 — height up to 850 mm — seat 180 mm;
- Group 0 — 800–950 mm — 210 mm;
- Group 1 — 930–1160 mm — 260 mm;
- Group 2 — 1080–1210 mm — 310 mm;
- Group 3 — 1190–1420 mm — 350 mm.
A chair is matched with a table of the same group number. Cloakroom benches are sized to the children of the relevant group.
Materials and safety
The regulation requires light matte surfaces, safe materials resistant to detergents and disinfectants, with rounded corners and edges. They withstand daily use and cleaning.
